Who we are
Detailing Autos is a mobile car detailing service based in Schaumburg, Illinois, operated by MaxUSA LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Detailing Autos.

What we collect
We only ask for what we need to quote a job, get to your vehicle and do the work:
- Contact details — your name, phone number and email address.
- Service address — where the vehicle will be when we arrive.
- Vehicle details — make, size, condition and anything you tell us about it.
- Messages — what you write in our request form, by text or by email.
- Appointment history — the services you booked and when.
- Website usage — pages viewed and how you reached our site, collected through cookies and similar technology.
We do not collect or store your card number. Payments are handled by Square, and card details go straight to them.
How we use it
- To give you a price and confirm an appointment.
- To find your vehicle and carry out the service.
- To send booking confirmations, reminders and receipts.
- To answer questions and handle any problem with the work.
- To keep our own records, including tax records.
- To understand how our website is used and to measure our advertising.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your appointment — confirmations, reminders, and messages about getting to you. These are service messages and relate to a job you asked for.
We send promotional texts only if you tick the marketing consent box on our website. Consent to marketing texts is never required in order to book.
We do not sell, rent or share your phone number, or your consent to receive text messages, with any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technology from Google to measure traffic and the performance of our advertising. This tells us things like which pages people visit and whether an ad led to a booking. It does not tell us your name.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of personalised Google advertising at myadcenter.google.com.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the business, and only so far as they need it:
- Square — booking, payments and receipts.
- Formspree — delivering the request form on our website to our inbox.
- Google — business email, website analytics and advertising.
- Cloudflare — hosting our website.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our property or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep appointment and payment records for as long as the law requires us to keep business and tax records. Enquiries that never became a booking are kept while they may still be useful and are then deleted.
Your choices
- Ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete your details, except records we must keep by law.
- Stop marketing texts at any time by replying STOP.
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the email.

Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, and we limit who can see it. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
